From its beginnings, Douze Paris has chosen to only market products that respect ethical rules, whether it concerns the origin of materials and stones, or the method of manufacturing and consumption. Manufactured in 18-carat recycled gold, we only source from foundries or workshops labeled RJC (Responsible Jewelery Council)-COC (RJC Chain of Traceability standard) (more information here ) in order to control the traceability of metals. Douze Paris jewelry is made by French and international workshops also working for major houses. We thus favor a short circuit and try to reduce as much as possible the carbon footprint that distant transport would entail. However, due to the specificity of certain products or the area of ​​expertise necessary for their creation, some of our creations are produced abroad (in Thailand and India precisely.) These branches also hold the RJC label, which guarantees responsible working methods and conditions. Each creation concerned presents a mention in its product sheet. The tailor-made and transformation products are entirely handmade in Paris, by our partner artisans. Our diamonds only come from countries that are members of the international certification regime known as the Kimberley Process*. Finally, we decided to produce the vast majority of our creations on demand. We thus avoid overstock and hope to re-establish slower and more thoughtful consumption. Buying sustainably and marveling forever has become our mission.
