Give your forgotten treasures a new lease on life. Whether it's transforming an antique ring, reinterpreting a hand-me-down, or refinishing gold jewelry, we'll help you breathe new life into your precious possessions.

Discover below the behind-the-scenes look at each step of your jewelry transformation, and start the adventure now by booking an appointment !

STEP 1: Studying Your Treasures and Evaluating Gems

During our first appointment, you'll bring along your dormant jewelry—antique rings, pendants, gold bracelets, or other handed-down or forgotten antique jewelry—so we can examine it thoroughly. We'll test the quality of the metals and gemstones, count the number of stones, and measure the weight of the gold to determine if jewelry transformation is possible.

Our antique jewelry transformation service is completely personalized and adapts to the nature of each piece.

STEP 2: opinions from our craftsmen and quotes

We head to the workshops to confirm what we already thought (great minds think alike!). After removing the stones that can be mined, they then give us the exact price of your metal weight, which will be deducted from the total amount of your invoice. This is a key step in establishing a transparent quote for the transformation of your jewelry.

STEP 3: making the sketches

We then get to work and offer you three designs within three weeks, each based on your specifications. Each sketch illustrates a different way to transform your ring, pendant, or other antique jewelry into a completely modern piece. The hardest part is choosing!

When the sketches are delivered to you, a fee is required to compensate for the creative process.

STEP 4: 3D and production

Once your favorite model has been chosen, we launch what is called a 3D (except for creations entirely produced by hand). A visual rendering is sent to you to validate the volumes and the general appearance of your future jewel. We then ask the wonderful Parisian workshops with which we work to evaluate the cost of transforming your gold jewel, but also its production time (from 4 to 8 weeks approximately depending on the complexity of the project). As soon as the quote is validated, we launch production with a fanfare!

STEP 5: the end clap

The jewelry transformation takes place in Parisian workshops. The materials used are the same as those in our collections: 18-carat recycled gold, and fine stones and
carefully selected natural gemstones. Each transformation of an antique ring or antique jewelry is carried out with rigor, passion and know-how. As usual, if you have any questions or comments
regarding your transformation project jewelry, or just want to express your joy, you can write to us at this address: contact@douze-paris.fr or on the site chat.

It then takes 6 to 8 weeks for the transformation of your ring or any other piece of jewelry to take place and before you receive your new, updated piece of jewelry.

You can come and collect it in Paris, or have it delivered to your home, with all the care and security your transformed jewelry deserves.

"The part of the manufacturing process that I preferred in developing my custom project was choosing the design with the team, the sketches, the discussions with the designer, and discovering the final result."

"Something old, something new. We had family diamonds on a brooch that we wanted to use to create an engagement ring, with a unique and modern setting. I loved the experience so much that we also designed a pair of earrings together, perfect for the big day, again based on the same brooch."

"I chose this custom-made service instead of an existing ring, to have a creation that no one else has. To live a unique experience with my partner. Thank you, I will remember it all my life."

"I turned to Douze's Made-to-Measure service, rather than an existing ring, to have a personalized creation that reflects me. If the opportunity arises, I would love to be able to repeat the experience and design a birth gift together. I have received a number of compliments on my ring!"

"The part of the creative process that I enjoyed the most was, without a doubt, the moment I received the first sketches! The brand was able to combine my desire for a unique piece of jewelry, while using the stones I had available. I loved the design, the uniqueness of the experience, and the simplicity of the contact."
