STEP 1: STUDY OF YOUR TREASURES AND APPRAISAL OF THE GEMS
At our first appointment, you bring along your dormant jewellery: antique rings, pendants, gold bracelets or other heirloom pieces, passed down or forgotten, so that we can examine them closely. We test the quality of the metals and gems, count the number of stones and measure the weight of gold to determine whether a jewellery Transformation is possible.
Our Transformation service for antique jewellery is entirely personalised and adapts to the nature of each piece.
STEP 2: CREATING THE SKETCHES
As soon as the specifications drawn up together during the appointment are approved, we set to work and offer you three preliminary sketches within three weeks. Each sketch illustrates a different way of transforming your ring, your pendant or any other heirloom piece into an entirely personalised creation. The hardest part is now choosing!
When the sketches are delivered to you, a fee covering the creative process is payable.
STEP 3: QUOTE AND SOURCING
We then ask the wonderful Parisian workshops we work with to assess the cost of transforming your gold jewel, as well as its production time (from about 4 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the project). After unsetting the stones that can be reused, they then give us the exact price of your metal weight, which will be deducted from the total amount of your invoice. It is a key step in establishing a transparent quote for the transformation of your jewel.
Once your quote is approved, the sourcing of additional gems takes place at this stage. The choice of the stone or stones, sourced from our partner gemmologists and diamond dealers, may be the subject of an additional appointment to discover and choose from the selection.
STEP 4: 3D AND PRODUCTION
Once your favourite design has been chosen, we create a 3D model (when necessary). This visual rendering is sent to you by email so you can approve the volumes and the overall look of your future piece. Once approved, we launch production with great fanfare!
STEP 5: THE FINAL CURTAIN
The jewellery Transformation takes shape. The materials used are the same as those of our collections: 18-karat recycled gold, and natural fine and precious stones selected with care. 6 to 10 weeks after the approval of your specifications, your piece has been transformed. It is now new and brought up to date.
You can come and collect it in Paris, or receive it at home, with all the care and security your transformed piece deserves.
