STEP 1: Examination of your treasures and gem appraisal
At our first appointment, you'll bring your dormant jewelry with you: old rings, pendants, gold bracelets, or other antique jewelry inherited or forgotten, so we can examine them closely. We'll test the quality of the metals and gemstones, count the number of stones, and measure the weight of the gold to determine if a jewelry transformation is feasible.
Our antique jewelry transformation service is entirely customized and adapts to the nature of each piece.
STEP 2: creating the sketches
Once the specifications established together during our meeting have been validated, we get to work and provide you with three designs within three weeks. Each sketch illustrates a different way to transform your ring, pendant, or any other antique piece of jewelry into a completely modern item. The hardest part is now choosing!
When the sketches are delivered to you, fees constituting remuneration for the creative process are required.
STEP 3: Quotation and sourcing
We then ask the wonderful Parisian workshops with whom we work to estimate the cost of transforming your gold jewelry, as well as its production time (approximately 4 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the project). After unsetting any stones that can be used, they then give us the exact price of your metal weight, which will be deducted from the total amount of your invoice. This is a key step in providing a transparent quote for the transformation of your jewelry.
Once your quote has been approved, additional gem sourcing is possible for a transformation project and is carried out at this stage. The choice of stone(s), sourced from our partner gemologists and diamond dealers, may require an appointment for selection.
STEP 4: 3D and production
Once your favorite model is chosen, we produce what is called a 3D rendering (when necessary). A visual rendering is sent to you by email to validate the volumes and the general appearance of your future piece of jewelry. Once validated, we enthusiastically launch production!
STEP 5: The grand finale
Jewelry transformation has become a reality. The materials used are the same as those in our collections: recycled 18-carat gold, and carefully selected natural fine and precious gemstones. 6 to 10 weeks after your specifications are validated, your jewelry transformation will be complete. It is now new and updated.
You can pick it up in Paris, or have it delivered to your home, with all the care and security your transformed jewelry deserves.
