STEP 1: studying your treasures and assessing the gems
At our first appointment, bring along your sleeping treasures: antique rings, pendants, gold bracelets or other inherited or forgotten pieces, so we can examine them closely. We test the quality of the metals and gems, count the stones and weigh the gold to determine whether a jewellery Transformation is feasible.
Our antique jewellery Transformation service is entirely personalised and adapts to the nature of each piece.
STEP 2: creating the sketches
As soon as the brief is approved, defined together during the appointment, we get to work and present you with three drawings within three weeks. Each sketch illustrates a different way of transforming your ring, pendant or any other antique piece into an entirely modern creation. The hardest part now? Choosing!
When the sketches are delivered, a fee covering the creative process is charged.
STEP 3: quote and sourcing
We then ask the wonderful Parisian workshops we work with to assess the cost of transforming your gold jewellery, as well as its production time (around 4 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the project). After unsetting the stones that can be reused, they give us the exact value of your metal weight, which will be deducted from the total amount of your invoice. This is a key step in establishing a transparent quote for your jewellery transformation.
Once your quote is approved, the sourcing of additional gems is possible within a transformation project and takes place at this stage. The selection of the stone(s), sourced through our partner gemmologists and diamond dealers, can be made during a selection appointment.
STEP 4: 3D and production
Once your favourite design is chosen, we produce what is called a 3D (when needed). A visual rendering is sent to you by email to approve the volumes and overall look of your future jewel. Once approved, production begins with great fanfare!
STEP 5: the grand finale
The jewellery Transformation comes to life. The materials used are the same as in our collections: 18-carat recycled gold, and carefully selected natural fine and precious stones. 6 to 10 weeks after your brief is approved, your jewellery's transformation is complete. It is now brand new and brought up to date.
You can pick it up in Paris, or receive it at home, with all the care and security your transformed jewel deserves.
