Behind Douze is Hermine Sacau . Born on December 12, 1992, the designer dreamed from a very young age of jewelry that was unpretentious and full of emotion. The origin of this adventure came to life during Sundays spent polishing the family jewels passed down by her great-grandmother, born on the same date years before. It was therefore a natural choice, in homage to this woman, to name the brand Douze . This appreciation for gold stems from her ancestor, who had to flee Poland, taking with her only a few portable and concealable possessions: her jewelry and gemstones . A treasure from the past that continues to fuel Hermine's passion for jewelry .
